Social & YooPass
Yooca is multiplayer-first, and one of its design pillars is "social is the sink" — you earn Younits mostly solo, then spend them on social expression. Here's how you connect with people.

Friends
You can send and receive friend requests from anyone in the city. Accepting a request modestly raises both players' Influence. Friends can visit each other's homes and unlock the friends-only chat channel.
YooPass (your profile card)
Interacting with another player opens their YooPass — a social profile card showing achievements, current stats, and interaction options:
- Kudos — a single emoji reaction, once per day per person. Raises the recipient's Influence more, the giver's a little.
- Gift — send an item from your inventory; it costs you the item.
- Tip — send Younits or YouniDollars directly. Younit tips carry a 10% platform fee, so the sender pays 110 for the recipient to get 100. Tips are subject to an XP minimum for both players and to transfer caps, and YouniDollars also have a holding period. - Direct Chat — open a one-to-one text conversation.
- Friend Request — ask to become mutual friends.
Things to do together
- Tug of War in the park (1v1 up to 8v8).
- Water Balloon Fight — organised timed events; buy balloon pouches with Younits.
- Yooca Pet socialisation — pets interact based on personality compatibility.
- Cooking and gifting food — high-level cooks can make and gift meals.
- The in-game camera and Yoogram (Yooca's in-game Instagram).
- Multiplayer mini-games like Sprint Fury (8 players), Pickleball and Dart Championship PvP. See Games.
Influence
Influence is a player trait that doubles as a social-status signal. High Influence attracts more interaction in the city, unlocks Influence-gated quests and events, and shows a distinct badge on your YooPass. It decays without sustained social activity and cannot be purchased — only earned through genuine engagement.
